Christmas Candle Ornament - knit or crochet

I think we need some holiday magic right about now. I'm in a retro mood for the holidays! I'm planning on a few of these handmade ornament swaps so if you have a special theme request for the next one please message me.

They can be crochet or knit. I don't use a pattern, but many show up on Google and Pinterest. Many to choose from!

What they do need to be is a knit or crochet candle that can be hung or clipped on the tree. There appears to be no standard size but I think about 2 1/2 to 3 inches would work on a small tree or a larger one.

My example was knit from a light weight worsted, and slips over a standard clothespin so it can clip on a branch.

....... Senders choice for color so that you can get started early. It's also senders choice in materials - wool or acrylic or cotton. Many of us are crafting in place or money is tight so let's craft with what we have.

Every swap is an opportunity to make someone's day. To send anything less than your best attempt to make your partner smile is not swapping to your full potential nor treating your partner right.

Swapper requirements: Rated 4.95 or higher and ZERO no-sends. It bugs other swappers to have someone included in a swap that has 1's. Don't ask me to make an exception for you when the other participants are expecting higher standards. Fair is fair.

Please, if you don't really have the time, you don't have the skills needed to complete this, or you've already signed up for a bunch of swaps don't sign up. I always check just before assigning partners and ban anyone who has slipped in ratings, hasn't logged on recently, or is posting on their profile that they will late in sending for any reason. I reserve the right to exclude anyone if I believe they will create problems for other swappers. I check forums and flaker/problem groups.
