The Writer's Challenge Game

New York Times best-selling author Heather Graham has a fun challenge for writers posted on her website.

For this swap, you will go to The Writer's Challenge Game and follow the rules. "Print the list of sentences, nouns, and adjectives, cut all into pieces. Pick one sentence, two nouns, and two adjectives out of separate baskets or piles."

From there, you are going to write -- any genre, any format. She has examples posted on the challenge. For the purpose of the swap, what you send your partner should be no less than one full page and no more than five pages. For those who prefer word counts, that amounts to no less than 250 words.

What you write doesn't have to be a complete story -- just a piece of writing using a sentence, two nouns and two adjectives from Heather's lists.

You'll write your story, novel beginning, etc., and send a copy to your partner.
