Tourist-y Postcard Swap

Question : "You don't need to live in the area that you're writing about,"

AND

"Send it naked and stamped."

what does that mean ? if I write about somethig ( on the postcard ) it`s no longer "naked"

or am I simply to stupid for that swap ?

I believe "naked" means without an envelope.

@Catconfuser 'naked and stamped' means you should put a stamp (or however many you need) on it and send it without an envelope. Postcards nowadays can have some fancy decorations and dangly bits which is why some people choose to send their postcards in an envelope. Hope that cleared things up!

'Written and Stamped' means the postcard ist written and sent without an envelope. 'Naked' means to send an empty postcard in an envelope. Naked always means an unwritten postcard! Please clarify in the description, otherwise it causes confusion.

@Nehalennia and @Nushkinathan In this website's Term Glossary (found in the "Help" section) it says that Naked postcard means just what you refer to as "written and stamped". And it specifically says it means without an envelope.

But I think it would still be easier to understand when it's called "written and stamped" anyway. Everybody knows what that means ;-)
