Junk Journaling friends!!! Let's help each other collect some nice ephemera for personal junk journals. My hope is to host a number of these over the summer so that we can slowly put together a cool journal that can be used to hold family recipes, photos, journal entries or favorite Covid memes. Whatever you decide! I plan to use mine as an idea book for an upcoming women's retreat. Join me as I get ready to get to work creating a special junk journal that will become something special. 2020 is only half over and there is still a chance to salvage it and make it wonderful. To participate in the swap..... in the comments below you can share any particular information to help your partner better pick out what junk journal embellishments to send you. You could say, "Please send me anything that has a vintage feel to it" or " a Modern feel" or "food themed" or "Disney themed". These suggestions are NOT required, but they help your partners narrow down better the kinds of things you might like. You will send to 3 partners one regular sized envelope filled with at least 5 items for their junk journal. So if one of your partners says they want to have a floral themed junk journal you could send them..... 5 pieces of floral papers that are different or..... (a flower postcard, floral stickers, some scrapbook paper scraps with patterned roses on them, an old time photocopy of a letter and floral ribbon). Even though I am encouraging input from each of you in the comments... it is meant to help your partner choose things that you will be able to use.... but as long as they send at least 5 different pieces that could be used in a junk journal you should rate them a '5'. **Must have completed at least 10 Type 2 or 3 swaps and no recent unexplained 1's or 3's. | |
