I heard somewhere that statistically, the month for break ups is January. It makes complete sense-the holidays are over, and Valentine's Day is fast approaching. One of the things that has always helped me through a break up is really good music. Ironically, it seems as though songs about breaking up and relationship turmoil seem to be some of my favorites! Your challege: create a CD for one partner with songs all about breaking up (or relationship strife in general). Some songs can be relatively up beat,so try to be as varied and creative as possible. Include a song/artist list, and a decorated jewel case to enclose the CD in. Let's try to get at least 12 songs on the CD. â™¥'s should be awarded for a REALLY varied CD (some sad and some happy songs), and a beautifully decorated jewel case. Newbies are welcomed to this swap with a completed profile...otherwise you should have a rating of at least 4.8. I reserve the right to ban anyone who seems "shifty". I hope everyone has fun with this!

Hi IslandBroad, I believe "jewel case" just means the plastic container that a CD is placed in. Rather than just a CD paper sleeve.

You are right synchrodoll! A jewel case it the plastic case that a CD comes in. It's up to you how to decorate it...and by that I mean the insert that goes into the jewel case, not necessarity the outside of it, although that would be really cool, too.

let me know if you run an international version of this, i just went through a pretty rough breakup (just because it's you who decided and initiated it does NOT make it easier) and so have lots of music for this on hand!

Hi stuffbystephanie! I just read mazzlestar's comment and noticed now also that it's only US Region...I'll unfortunately have to drop out unless any exceptions to highly motivated CD mix makers can be made? :o)

I really want to do this, but I absolutely suck at decorating anything. I'm afraid that I'll only make the cover worse. I'll make a title page...but it won't be pretty, I'm afraid.
