Pick a Verse....Any Verse!!

1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

I love these verses because it just sums up pain and hurt in a nut shell. Just tells you Its going to be okay. And it tells the dummies who say "its going to be okay" Hey IM ALLOWED TO HURT!! LOL!!

And ye shall seek ME and find ME when ye shall search for ME with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the LORD and said,'O Lord my GOD, I pray, let this child's soul come back to him.' Then the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived. 1 Kings 17:21-22

I love these verses because they remind me to search for GOD for in everything, good and bad, as GOD alone IS the power and we find him through faith. It also helps heal the pain of difficult times like this, to know that we are loved and to give our pain and our joy to GOD.

Psalm 91:4 - He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

I love this verse, and basically all of Psalm 91 because it lets me know that God loves and protects me.

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a mighty one, a Savor. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will rest and in His love He will be silent and make no mention of past sins : He will exult over you with singing.

This scripture just amazes me . That the God that created Heaven and Earth would also rejoice over me as one of His creation as well. How amazing is that. But the part of the scripture that made my heart sing was the fact that God will exult over me with singing. That God sings too me and wants /desires to sing to me . Even with all my faults and sins , childish behavior etc the Almighty God, the Alpha and the Omega, the one that is , the Great I am . He actually sings to me . Earthly words don't really say how I feel about this . So I will leave you with this . Have you heard God singing to you lately?

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

My hubby has some medical issues that I am praying for. My hubby gets down about his situation and I find my prayers becoming a laundry list of what I need God to do in this situation. These verses remind me of how to pray and I can have peace because God's got this and we need to wait on His timing.
