Reading Challenge 2020 April

I am starting the Monthly Reading Challenge that I hosted last year. Some will be easy and I will try do one each month. I will try to give a month's time between sign up and completion as to allow you to find the correct book as some will be more difficult than others. You don't have to wait til partners are assigned to find the book. Remember you don't have to have finished the book to send your thoughts. You can always send a msg after you finish if you want to update your partner on what you thought.

This will be an electronic swap. You will read the correct book, then e-mail or PM your partner, state the author, title and a brief summary of the book and if you liked it or not

. Please remember to check your spam folder if it's sent by e-mail. It doesn't have to be long. If you had trouble finding it and didn't finish the book that is fine, just send the info and your impressions so far.

Happy Reading! This month you will read a famous author you have never read before.

Now I will leave it up to you to decide what you consider a famous author. Now somebody may have only written one book yet be famous because that book is now a best seller or has been read by many, such as Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. However an author may have written hundreds of books (say on the mating habits of the tsetse fly) but that doesn't make him or her famous. However in certain genres an author may be famous in certain circles. Be prepared to state your case if your partner doesn't think you have fulfilled the terms of the swap. I think this should be interesting. I for one will have a tough time finding a famous author that I haven't read unless I go outside my comfort zone, yikes!

This is a great way to discover a new author, I love discovering new authors. You can read any genre, except of course cookbooks LOL! Any questions please pm me or post here.
