Textures and Patterns in Nature

Since nature is my favorite subject to photograph, I thought it would be fun to focus a bit more on the details of it. Nature brings us wonderful texture and patterns if we look for it. Whether it’s fur or feathers, plants or water, textures and patterns are all around us.

For this swap you will have 2 partners and will mail them 2 photographs each. Your photos should capture a texture or pattern that was created by nature. Photos should be good quality prints, can be any size and must be taken by you.

• Any type of camera is permitted. • Photos in color or black and white are permitted. • Digital alteration is allowed but not required. • Photos may be printed professionally or on your printer. • International swap.

Please be sure to include your nickname and swap name on the back of your photos, as well as what your subject is. (Sometimes it’s hard to tell if it’s altered or a close-up!)
