so heres the deal - international yes :) This swap is simple ~ put together a nice package of goodies that are pink, kitsch or a combination of both. You will only have one partner, so you can put some thought into it. Try to stick within the scheme as close as possible ~ it's a challenge!! That's what makes it fun. Let's make it roughly $15 to spend (before postage), and get creative! Read your partners profile, and send things that you yourself would enjoy receiving. Remember, if you don't have a very full profile, you should not expect a package tailored to your personality! Some ideas: jewellery, small purses/wallets, candy, papers, cards, ribbon, fabric, yarns, small candles or purses, lip gloss, some samples of your own craft, on and on, the possibilities are absolutely endless!! Newbies welcome but please email me first and you must have a full profile! Anyone with 2 or more no send need not apply.

oh, hm... kitsch to ME is.... sort of like "flea market chic"... kitsch is traditionally inexpensive because, well, it was made cheaply. BUT there is often beauty in its form or function that makes it art. sometimes kitsch is gaudy, some times a little overstated, and sometimes it is just plain ironic. a lot of kitsch is bright and bold in colors. it's a harder thing than i thought to describe! your best bet may be to simply browse some kitsch shops online.

Personally Kitsch to use Brits has always been described as cutsie things from past or present eg Hello Kitty items, Betty Boop, Jewellery comprising of bright dice hearts etc. Anything kind of retro and fifties, like magnets with ladies and jokes on. if you guys didn't know, the host of this swap was bad news and has since been deleted from swap-bot. does everyone want to talk about who their partners are so the person who was supposed to send to accidents can send to the person who should have received from accidents?
