Let's Hear It For The......Newbies!!

Are you a NoOb? Are you feeling a little confused and discouraged? Well here's a swap for you!! (And you seasoned swappers out there can join too)! This will be a fairly simple swap but you also get to try out something new as well (if you'd like to)!

Of course every swap that is good must have requirements: So Newbies are welcome if your profile is completely filled out. You seasoned swappers must have a rating of 4.9 or higher, No no sends in the past few months please!! And No flakers...it's no fun when you get flaked on!

What you will do in this swap is...

1. Include 1 Item that is handmade. This Must be handmade. Please no ATCs, Notecards, Postcards and the like. Maybe you've always wanted to learn how to make dotee dolls, or matchboxes, or a stuffie...or an altered item like a notebook or trinket box, or making jewelry. This is your chance to do so...make something you've always wanted to try...OR that you know you're just so darn good at you have to show off your work!!

2. Include 1 profile surprise for your partner!! Please PLEASE read their profiles to find out their likes and dislikes. Maybe you're partner likes tea...include a new box of yummy teas!! Maybe they like cute coinpurses...or they like reading!! Something around a $3-$5 value.

Newbies....here's some information you may find helpful.

To fix up your profile...scroll to the top of the screen...click on Profile, out near your name is a little red lettering that says Edit Profile. You can also get there by hovering your mouse over Profile at the top. When you get to this screen after you hit the edit profile, go to Personal. You can make sections for your profile from the drop down taps in this area. Please make sure to fill out the About Me section, you can make one with Crafts, Favorite Movies, Favorite Books, You can even drop down to Other and Fill in that little blank to Include some likes and Dislikes!! Please do not put just three words or sentences in each section. We want to know about you, we want to know what you like and what you dislike, we want to know what you want to do and what crafts you can do!! Etc. Be creative!!

To make bullets and lists in your profile. Hit the - and then a space and then what you want to say on each line You must do this for each line!

To make something BOLD. Hit your Shift and the Number 8 on what word or letter you want to do. You Must Hit the Shift 8 Twice before your word/sentence, and Twice after your word/sentence.

When in doubt, always ASK. Never be afraid to ask any kind of question. You can ask in comments or Go to my profile (click my name) and hit Send Message.

I will look through profiles before assigning partners to make sure everyone is up to date and whether someone needs to be banned or not. If you seem flakey I will ban.

The tip to a good swapper, is making that effort and pouring your heart into a swap. If you truly tried on a swap, your partner will know this and reward you for it!!

Always include a Note with your swap stating what swap it is and your user name so you can be rated correctly. Please follow the guidelines of the swap and and follow through with the swap and you'll be a A+ swapper here in no time!! Please always rate when you receive the swap, if you don't know how to rate...ASK SOMEONE. Us here, who aren't newbies, we will help, but all you have to do is ask.
