Fountain Pen Ink "swatch" Aug 2019

I love fountain pens, but my obsession is the ink!

For this swap, you're going to make 5 different ink "swatches" to send to your partner.

I say "swatch" because rather than the elaborate q-tip swabs of ink, for this we'll include only a drop or a 1cm square scribble to show the full potential of the ink (you can do a full q-tip swab if you're inclined, but it's not required, just the drop/scribble). The inks you choose are senders choice and yes, if you have 5 different brands/shades of blue (for example) that's okay!

In addition to the drop/scribble, you must write out the brand and name of the ink using that ink as well as the name and nibsize of your pen if applicable (I'll be doing mine with a glass pen). Do indicate that you are using a dip pen, but obviously the nibsize is somewhat irrelevant.

As for the swatch itself, it should be ATC sized (3.5x2.5) on a somewhat sturdy piece of fountain pen friendly white paper. If you don't have fountain pen friendly cardstock, feel free to write on thinner paper then attach it to a thicker stock with a dry adhesive (to prevent bleeding). On your note identifying the swap and your ID, feel free to share the paper name, if you know it.

So, to recap:

REQUIRED: 5 different 3.5x2.5 inch ink swatches, senders choice. Identify the ink brand and color as well as the pen used with the ink. Add either a drop or a 1 cm square scribble of the ink color to each swatch. A note identifying the swap name and your ID.

Optional: doing a full q-tip ink swab and/or identifying the paper used.

Nitty-Gritty: International, newbie friendly, I will angel. No history of late sending, no 1s to active swappers, etc, etc, etc. I'd rather ban than have to angel.

Note: this is for fountain pen inks only! No India ink, No liquid watercolors, No stamp pad reinkers, etc. Feel free to host swaps for swatches of other inks!
