If you think there's almost nothing more fun than a really good scavenger hunt then THIS is the swap for you!!!! Open to members of the Thrift Store Treasure Hunters ONLY. You will have one partner and you must find an item that begins with every letter in your partner's first name, but there is one LITTLE twist . . it must ALL fit into one brown paper lunch bag (just like the funky grab-bags you get at a bazaar!!!!! Example: TRACI Tea Cup, Ring, Apron, Clock, Item of clothing GET creative!!!!! ENJOY, Have FUN - after-all, this is a HOBBY . . hobbies are supposed to bring you joy & happiness!!!!!!!!

I think this is a really great idea but some people have really short names and others have very long ones and therefore would get far fewer or more items. Could we set a number of items, say 5 or 6, and pick that many letters from the username? I can't really afford to take part if I get a partner with 11 or 12 letters in their name (like my own for example!)

My REAL name is Rossitza. A lot of people call me Rossi though, I dunno which one to give to my partner.

My real first name is just the letter S, but I go by my last name Sargon, or my entire name all together, Sssargon. You can use whichever of those two you prefer XP I just had trouble having my name legally changed to only one as opposed to a first (middle) and last.

You may use either name...of course I would ask for my screen name, ha, but I like surprises....so its up to my partner to decide...and THANKS in advance.....happy thrift swapping!

I went shopping yesterday and bought all the items for my partner. But, I have a question. Do we have to buy a pack of those brown lunch bags to send, or can we use a white (same size) bag that has the name of a local hamburger joint on it? I have several white bags from 'Jack's Burgers' on hand. I started to buy a pack of the little brown bags yesterday and they cost $3.00 for a bag of 100. There's not anything I will use them for except for grab bag swaps and that's the smallest pack I could find. If I have to I will buy them, but wanted to ask your opinion first.

Oh, I just noticed we're supposed to post our name to let our partner know which name we want to receive things for. Well, both my real name and username are pretty long. My real name is Beatrice but everyone calls me Bea. If she would rather send for a shorter name, how about maybe BeaB, B is the initial for my last name. Whatever she wants to do is fine with me:)

Certainly don't go buy a pack of 100 (unless you can & will use them for something else).

A white (or other color) will do - as long as it is approximately the same size.
