YTPC: 100 Day: Day 20: Journal Cards

Hi swappers!

For this swap you'll be following Linda Israel's tutorial found HERE to create a masterboard/journal cards for your partner.

Here's what you'll do:

• Create a masterboard on a 12"x12" base

• Cut your masterboard at 4", giving you 1 4"x12" piece and 1 8"x12" piece

• Cut two 3" pieces off the 4"x12" piece, giving you 2 3"x4" cards

• Collage/embellish these two cards and provide writing space on the back of each

• Mail the two completed journal cards and the extra 4"x6" piece to your partner; the other 8"x12" piece is yours to keep

If you don't care about having the extra piece for yourself, simply begin with a 4"x12" piece.

Embellish in your own style, perhaps mixing some of Linda's ideas with your own--no rules except the size of the cards. No sewing machine? No problem. Use what you have to create a couple of lovely cards for your partner.
