I have seen so many journal swaps going around and have been in a couple myself and thought they were so fun to create and do but a month sometimes just isn't enough. So, this swap is for those that love to write and create and have fun with their journals. It will run from June this year to December of next year. Because this is such a long commitment, I will be limiting who joins. You will take a journal any size that is 5x7 or bigger and fill it out between June and December of next year. You need to put some effort into this, I know life gets busy and I don't expect a page a day but 2-3 pages a week I feel is doable. A couple sentences and nothing else on the page does not count as putting effort in. This is meant to be fun and a way to unwind/de-stress or even just to try a new creative outlet. This is open to swappers with filled out profiles (I will check) and have a 4.98 rating or higher with at least 10-15 swaps under their belt. I will be checking in at least once every week or every other week with everyone once partners are assigned and I need to hear back. I will host this yearly if there is enough interest.

Though, I think this is an interesting swap. I would be concerned with it being a 4.90 minimum. As long as required, people will have to be active enough to check into Swap-bot a whole year. To me it would be a minimum 5.0. I personally would really be upset if I finished my year long journal sent it out and was never rated, let alone if the partner I was paired with flaked. I will watch the swap and might join later on.

Yes, I agree with SeleneW. I got burned on one of these swaps. My partner flaked and someone else offered to send me one that really wasn’t acceptable at all. It was supposed to have some artwork in it along with journaling. I was really ticked because I did something for every day, both journaling and artwork.

I really do like this idea and I would love to do it. Is this journal a combination of writing and art? How about pasting in things? In other words is just about anything OK?

Yes so long as it can fit enough entries for the duration of the swap. This is the perfect project to make one.

enough to last for over a year. I should think at least 3-4 journal entries a week added up for 18 or so months is what you need to prepare for.
