Australia (the country, not the movie) ATC

I am leaving on a trip tomorrow, in which I will visit Australia for the first time. I've wanted to travel there forever, and I have my pre-established notions of what it's about, which I am sure will change. This swap explores what other swappers think about Australia: whether you live there, have visited, or want to go there. It's both a country and a continent, it has an epic history, and a unique environment.

Theme is open: could be about lifestyle, history, wildlife, slang, culture, sport, beer, "Neighbors", Blunnies, Tim Tams, Tim Rogers... whatever. What's Oz to you?
