Description:

For this swap you'll have 2 partners and you'll send each partner 2 pages of gelli prints!

The tutorial can be found HERE

You'll be sending each partner 3 designs measuring at least 4"x6", for a total of 6 printed sheets. You can use printer paper, book pages, any type of paper you like--mix it up!

Birgit gets a great result from her efforts. If yours don't look as great as Birgit's, don't worry! You'll probably be critical of your own work but I'm betting your partners will love them.

Have fun!

Is there a link to a you tube video?

Oh oh that must Birgits work above. Wake up brain! lol

Hi all . . . oops! I posted the link now and yes, that's Birgit's work above. Hers are all beautiful (of course). I'm going to purchase some 'mixing white' since that's what she uses since I do have issues with mine. Good luck everyone!

I wish I could figure out what I am doing wrong with my gelli plate! My prints always stick and my paper ends up tearing off. :(

@Bananers Most people go to bed, snuggling with their other, watching TV, saying their prayers, reading....not me.....I was contemplating last night in bed, about this swap.... what if I cant get the image to lift. lolololol I had to drop the swap. lol I figured it would be more stress instead of fun.

@Bananers are you using printer paper? cardstock? The only ones that 'stick' for me are vintage papers, like book pages, etc. Try with a thicker paper or even grocery bags/lunch bags.

@isabellasnow I've mostly tried with the cardstock weight paper that you would buy from your local craft store or from the office supply store. (Somewhere between 80-110# I think.)

OK . . . just noticed that the 18th is a postal holiday so please don't rate down if your item is postmarked a day late. I hope you wouldn't do that in any circumstance but just thought I'd mention it here. Hope you're all having fun creating your pages!
