Hello Again!

I honestly had no idea how HUGE the "sand collector's" community actually was! So after conversing and getting additional information from another swapper friend...I feel even more compelled host this swap. 😊

Swap Requirements- *You will have 1partner. *You will be sending a sample of sand or earth (your choice) that is between 1 Teaspoon and 1 Tablespoon in size, sealed in a plastic baggie. *You must include a note with your user name and the title of this swap along with where your sand/earth was collected...whether it be on a beach, a historical location, or even in your backyard. **I do recommend sending the sample inside a note card or the like, to help prevent a tear or puncture to the plastic baggie.

Newby Friendly! No recent unexplained 1 or 3's. I reserve the right to ban.

Happy Swapping!!

This is so exciting. I have collected sand and soil for years, and have some really unique ones. I still don't have red sand from Australia. I never knew there were other sand collectors out there.

I’d love to join but alas, I don’t have any to trade. However, please note that any soil or sand can contain seeds, insects or insect eggs so may be subject to customs examination and confiscation. So make sure your sand is clean and consider baking or microwaving the soil and leaving a note to that effect inside the package for customs inspectors. I’ve no idea if a note is sufficient but explaining how you heated it and for how long might help.

Re: Customs- This is why the amount of sand/earth required is very small. It can easily be flattened out to paper thin and placed inside of a greeting card. I have never had an issue. *International swappers...please, by all means tho, do what you feel is needed to complete your swap. ❀ Thank You. 😊
