Trim, Ribbon, Lace, Pom-pom Destash - INTL

This is not a complicated or expensive swap but it may be bulky -that's why it's a Type 3 swap.

In this swap we'll have one partner. We go through our stash of trim, ribbon, lace and find the following to send our partner: at least 6 pieces of trim/lace/ribbon/pom-pom trim, all meeting the following requirements:

• at least 15 inches long (the longer the better, as this really improves usability);
• new OR vintage (so: clean, no stains, no discolorations, no fur or dust flakes);
• made of fabric, so no raffia/paper type/plastic ribbons. Elastic trims are allowed - if they're novelty/decorated!

THEN you add some extras just for fun. Stuff you can think of:

• shorter pieces of trim;
• interesting fabric embellishments (patches, flowers, felt shapes, fabric coated buttons);
• small piece of fabric (at least 6 x 6 inches);
• embroidery floss (if you think your partner might like that);
• really anything sewers (seamstresses?) or scrapbookers might like, related to fabric.

Send this in an envelope with a short note for your partner. Be prepared to receive polkadot, christmas, fuzzy, checkered... any kind of trim! To use in your future projects, how fun is that.

To avoid disappointment:

In the comments you can name THREE colors, styles and/or themes you do NOT wish to receive (so for instance 'white, sentiments and stripes' or 'white, black and brown'.

When partners are assigned, please check both your partner's profile page and the 'no go's' in the comments - respect them. Please note, this is a requirement too! Please place your comment after joining the swap so you don't forget.

Before assigning partners I will go through the list and see if everyone meets the requirements and has been online in the previous week.

I can probably angel this swap (I hope I don't have to!) but prepare to receive a 'light' version then. I am destashing so I will be sending a considerate amount of my stash to my partner. :)
