Mugsy, I think I will buy an apron pattern but do you happen to have any website you could recommend?

Look on ETSY for patterns, you can download PDF's pretty easy.

Hi Junemom, Etsy has tons of people who handmade them and sell also. They have some really nice ones for great prices

Junemom I misread your saying you are looking for parrerns. Sorry. And yes Etsy is a great place or try pinterest. You might find some there.

I found a website which was quite sketchy, Then I took advantage of JoAn ne's Black Friday special and bought one. It's in three sizes and is a bit complicated but I made one for my partner in an hour and a half and mailed it today. Iwill use the smallest size pattern and make a somewhat smiliar for my 4 year old great-granddaugterand maybe a medium sized one for my daughter and granddaugther .... if I have eough time before Christmas. For many years I used paper patterns for making garments (which I don't do any more) but I am more comforable with a paper pattern than with something online.. Old fashioned me.
