Description:

Thanks for joining us for Uniquely Me #4! We continue on this journey, sharing and encouraging the uniqueness we each have. Please use the short pocket letter format for this swap. It will fit into a business size envelope so no extra postage should be needed unless you want to add bulkier surprises. A short pocket letter is made by cutting one horizontal strip from a baseball card pocket sleeve page. The three pockets should each hold a word that inspires you. The word should be visible on one side. You can write each word on a slip of paper or create an ATC (card or coin) to slide into each of the three pockets (one word/ATC per pocket). Also enclose some items to remind your partner of your inspiring words. A flower sticker for “Beauty” for example. Or your favorite teabag for “Calm.” Enclose a short letter/note telling your partner why these words inspire you. Please label the envelope AND note with the swap name, your username. Rate quickly! Other extras are your choice... I encourage reading your partner’s profile. Letting them know you appreciate their uniqueness is part of these swaps too! Enjoy creating for this swap and spread kindness.

This is a cool swap, short send by date tho, i hope you do another one with longer time to send to your partner

Thanks for your input! My thinking is that you can start to work on the swap ahead of time, especially since it’s based on your uniqueness. You can slip in a goody or two for your partner’s taste only if you’d like to just before sending. Of course if other swappers agree with your suggestion, I’ll consider going two weeks between dates. It’s a swap ‘series,’ so trying to keep it on somewhat of a schedule. Happy Swaps
