Etegami anyone?

Requirements: This will be a notecard swap. Size is up to you. Please include a card and envelope that is not written on. One your partner can use. The art should be some form of nature ie: flowers, fruits, vegetation, etc. you will make 1 card for 2 partners.

So, this is super fun, but a bit intimidating at first. I encourage you to try it. I did and fell in love, and no, I can’t draw or paint to save my life. That is the cool thing about this art. It frees you to have fun.

Etegami is basically rudimentary paintings. You can add a saying if you like, but it is all done by hand. Childlike if you will.

I used a juicy sharpie marker because I didn’t have a Japanese paint brush to make the outline. I also used kids water color paints.
