CF: July's Clean Happy Space

"You do not get gold stars for cleaning your toilet. In real life, there is a depressing lack of stickers." (Alexandra Petri. Alexandra is an American humorist and newspaper columnist. In 2010 she became the youngest person to have a column in The Washington Post. All irrelevant, I just didn't know who she was, so I looked her up.) Whoever she is, these words ring true. But we at Swap-bot have an opportunity to fix that, at least once! You won't get a gold star sticker, but maybe a heart and a five? And certainly encouragement.

For this swap, inspired by Beth's recent Creative Space swap, choose one area or room in your creative space... it can be a closet, a drawer, a box of photos, a whole room... and if your creative space is already clean and tidy, or just uninspiring, it can be any area of your home! Take photos of the mess, save them to your phone or computer, then CLEAN. Once you are satisfied, take photos again. Email your photos of before and after to your partners. (NO JUDGEMENT, no fear. We won't talk about you behind your back) If you've done the work and emailed your photos by the deadline, your partner will give you a five... and maybe a heart if it looks especially nice, or if you sent them a sweet chatty email as well! Or whatever they give hearts for.

So... no gold star stickers for cleaning like mad... but maybe a five and a heart!
