Vintage flipbook/zine and pen pal swap

In this swap you will create a flip book and zine with a vintage theme for your partner your new pen pal ( hopefully ). The theme can be anything from vintage backgrounds, music sheets, old book pages, movies the possibilities are endless and it’s completely up to you. The theme doesn’t have to be profile based although it is nice to try to send your partner something thoughtful that shows you read their profile and made it specifically for them.

There are a few requirements but I’ll try to keep that to a minimum

1. 4.9 rating ( newbies are welcome with a fully filled out profile)
2. I cannot angel this swap so please no flakers, if you sign up please be prepared to make and send your goods.
3. Please make your flip book a minimum of three pockets
4. Do not send your partner something you wouldn’t like to receive yourself. Please put in the effort to make and send something beautiful.
5. Please include in one pocket a letter introducing yourself to your partner that is at least one or two pages. Tell them about yourself, your hobbies etc
6. Make sure to include your zine in a pocket or with your flip book in the envelope. If you don’t know how to make one please pm me and I will tell you how, show you one of mine or direct you to a YouTube tutorial.

I got this idea from a recent swap held by Natc that I participated in and thought a vintage theme for it would be lovely. If I have left anything out please let me know as this is my first hosted swap. Happy crafting and happy snail mailing :)

Although I cannot require you to reply to your partner please do as it is part of this swaps intent to find a new pen pal to share mail art and crafts with and hopefully develop a new friendship through the written word.
