Description:

The first time I was in this swap, in 2007, when it was hosted by a dear friend, who Is no longer in swap-bot. I've seen lots of variations of if over the years, but I am returning to the simple.

You will have two partners, (that means you will get two ratings.)

You will send each one of them a postcard, with a stanza, or a few lines of a poem that has touched your life in some way.

Please credit the author, unless you've written it yourself.

Do not put your postcard in an envelope to mail. These are to be addressed, to your partner, with a stamp attached and then mailed.

It is VERY important that you write, maybe along the margins, your own name, the name of the swap, and the date you are mailing it. Be sure to also click the SENT button on this page, so you won't get marked down, just because the postal service might be slow.

Please use a picture postcard. (Sender's choice!)

this is an international swap, open to everyone, including newbies, who have a complete and well thought-out profile.(Most of my swaps are newbie-friendly, with this ONE rule. You must have a complete profile. I have always said, “When I open your profile page, I should have to scroll down to read it.” So be sure to take care of iright away, before partners are assigned, in order to remain in the swap.
I hope you have FUN with these!

Any questions, or concerns, please just ask, or message me.

I have some PC's with sayings on them. If I have one which goes with the poem I am using, would that be ok instead of a picture PC?

hello and welcome to swapbot! I see you are signed up for this swap - most of my swaps are open to newbies, with just ONE rule - you must fhave a full and complete profile, - - I have always said - when I open your proile page, I should have to scroll down to read it!

I will be assigning partners today, in about four hours - (2 pm my btime, Central time ) in order to stay in the swap, you must add to your profile, before partners are assigned. there are some excellent tabs in swapbot, or just come up with your own ideas.

I look forward to reading what you will write, gramsbuttonbox

Gabrielle - I would like you to use a picture postcard, even if you have to repeat on the back, hat it says on the front. (hope that makes sense)

Just wanted to make sure - when you say "picture postcard" does this mean has to be a photograph style? What about if it is an illustrator/painting store-bought one?

Or can be my own photograph?

either of those would be fine - I just do no want any of the plain beige-colored, "generic" cards. As long as there is a picture of some sort, it is fine. thanks for asking!
