Hi all! For this swap you'll be decoupaging napkins to book pages using the tutorial found Re the size of pages: I'm hoping you can simply use what you have on hand. Nothing tiny. I'd say to 'let your napkin be your guide'! I'm using vintage dictionary pages and they seem to be a good size. It's wonderful because it strengthens the fragile papers but they're not thick--really nice effect. You'll have 2 partners and send 2 decoupaged pages to each partner. Please use 1 dinner-size napkin or 2 cocktail napkins per book page. No need to trim the page; your partner can do that to suit his or her needs. Use any style decoupage medium you like; I know ModPodge has several available options. This tutorial does NOT show a top coat of decoupage; you may do a top coat of decoupage medium or skip it (as she does in the video). So . . . 2 pages each to 2 partners = 4 pages total If you have trouble with wrinkling, HERE is a very short tutorial about how to make your decoupage wrinkle-free. You'll end up with 4 decoupaged book pages to incorporate into your paper art . . . yippee! |
