O: Nautical or Beach Themed Flipbook

We haven't done a flipbook swap yet here in this group, and I think it's past time we do one, don't you?

For this swap, you'll create a penpal flipbook for your partner with a nautical or beach theme!

Your flipbook should be around 5x5 inches (12.7x12.7 cm), incorporate at least 3 flips, and have at least 3 nautical or beach (or both!) themed tuck ins (whether they be in pockets or things fixed to additional flips is up to you).

Additionally, include a letter to your partner telling them a bit about your love of the ocean, or a favourite beach or maritime memory you have.

You may create your flipbook in whatever way you're happiest...using envelopes, file cards, project life style cards...there are loads of ways to make one and none of them are wrong! You can also include shaker pages.

Some idea of tuck-ins to include are (but by no means limited to!):

• Stickers

• Washi samples

• Brads or other embellishments

• Paper clips

• Small ATC or crafting supplies

• ATC papers (themed)

• Items inspired by your partner's profile!

• Small shells or sea glass

• Charms

• Ribbon

Please ensure that you do review your partner's profile and do not send anything from their dislikes list, that they are allergic to, or that they clearly can't or won't use.

In a Nutshell:

• 1 flipbook to 1 partner

• Create a nautical or beach themed flipbook in accordance with the criteria outlined above and include at least 3 nautical or beach (or both!) themed tuck-ins (be generous please!), as well as a letter.

The Administrivia

• Include your username and the swap name in the swap.

• Send on time. Rate promptly upon receipt. Sending late without communication warrants a 3 rating and removal from the group. Not rating or having to be chased for a rating also warrants removal from the group. Communicate and rate.

• Rate according to the Swap-Bot Rating Criteria. Failure to rate your partner or to rate correctly will result in your removal from this group.

• If you are going to be late sending, make sure you let your partner and me know prior to the send-by date.

• Hearts are purely at the discretion of the rater.

• If you flake, you will be removed immediately from this group.
