Description:

This swap is similar to the "Email Penpals #1" - 1 incoming, 1 outgoing.

It would have been 3 months since "Email Penpals #1". If you took part in #1, do comment down below if you are still penpals with your previous partners. If not, why not? Because i am curious :)

I used to have a snailmail penpal whom i've written to (and gotten a reply) every 3 months for the past year. We were getting on well that we thought we would still be snailmail-ing for a very very long time.

Then obstacles came our way - busy work schedule, mails getting lost, stamps becoming an expense burden, forgotten what we were talking about due to the long pause in between letters.

I've had an email penpal whom i've written on and off for the past 3 years, and we became great friends in "real life".

So i thought to myself if anyone in the swap-bot community would also like the idea of having an email penpal.

  1. You can write as short/long as you want.

  2. You don't have to worry about buying stamps as an expense.

  3. Your letters won't get lost in the mailroom (maybe check your spam?)

  4. You can reply immediately, a day later, a week later, a month later, its totally up to you. (But if you decided not to continue replying, please do the courtesy of informing the other end. Its vexing eagerly waiting for a response. Xixi.)

5 You can just reread your previous mails to remind you of the topic.

If you like this idea, do join this swap.

Ratings should be given when you receive the 1st email - regardless the content or if you don't wish to reply.

I will be checking on well filled introductions and when you were last online.

As per Email Penpals #1, i will still DM & email those who have not sent out a day before the dateline as a gentle reminder. Please do the courtesy of informing your partners if you will be late.

If you don't receive any emails from your partner, do drop me a DM and i will gladly take their place as your potential penpals.

Flakers on Email Penpals #1 will naturally not be allowed to join.
