RM: Art Journal Technique #4 - Gelli Plate

For this art journal technique swap, we're going to create one, 5x7 art journal page using a Gelli Plate or other monoprinting background! If you don't have a Gelli Plate, you can monoprint using any number of techniques that can be researched online - or even make your own Gelli Plate (there are some tutorials on YouTube if you're feeling extra inspired to go that route).

The theme, the textures used, the colour and composition is, however, artist's choice. The only requirement here is that the background be Gelli Plate/monoprinted.

In a Nutshell

• ONE 5x7 art journal page with a Gelli Plate or monoprint background. NOTE: This page is front only, and you do not need to leave a margin for binding. It is entirely up to your partners to decide how to use or display the page. Please do sign the back of the page as the artist though!

• Ship flat and in a sturdy envelope so that it doesn't bend in transit.

• Include your username and swap name in the envelope. Optional - Feel free to include a note talking about what you loved or hated about this technique!

The Administrivia

• Send on time. Rate promptly upon receipt. Sending late without communication warrants a 3 rating and removal from the group. Not rating or having to be chased for a rating also warrants removal from the group. Communicate and rate.

• Rate according to the Swap-Bot Rating Criteria. Failure to rate your partner or to rate correctly will result in your removal from this group.

• If you are going to be late sending, make sure you let your partner and me know prior to the send-by date.

• Hearts are purely at the discretion of the rater.
