Description:

QnT REDWORK swap hand embroidery #7 2017

11-8--17 thru 11-30-17

--6 ½ inch X 6 ½ inch white fabric square 100% cotton

--embroider any winter themed items like mittens, scarves, gloves, coat, or even some snow boots worn by a cute little child

--be sure to leave ½ inch seam allowance around outside of block

--using only one color of red embroidery thread (avoid burgundy, wine, maroon, etc)

This month our block will feature winter clothing. Fill up as much of the allotted space as possible.

Do your best work and be sure to leave a ½ inch seam allowance along the outsides of the 6 ½ inch X 6 ½” white fabric square so that it can be assembled in a project and not lose any of the stitches in the seams.

I am sorry we had to skip September and October – I have been very busy at home and work and was unable to set them up. Please note that we will have a December swap for redwork.

Following months REDWORK swaps:

December = as a gift to your partner, ask them what they would especially like you to embroider. Recipients please don’t request anything too complicated.
