Anyone know what a 4.75 rating is?

@kittyhahahotbot -that just means that a person has received a rating of less than 5 at some point. All of the ratings are averaged together over time.

Are we sending the original or a copy like other zine swaps?

I would love to join this swap but the emotional (read hoarder) side of me has so much trouble parting with originals of things I make...If anyone knows of a recovery group, please let me know! :) Y'all have fun!

@animal87x Therapy starts now! lol. make two, keep the one you like best, make a copy of the second one and send the original of the second one to your partner. I think there is a song that goes a little something like this..."let it go! let it go! ....." hope you join. im working on mine and keeping a copy for myself. :) hope you get me as a partner! would love to see what you do!

lol @samjowers sounds like a good idea, once I get some swaps mailed out I'll sign up.

If it's for mixed media, what would be the best material to make the zine with? Card stock is so thick and would make a lumpy package. Any ideas?

I used a better quality catalog for mine, its a bit stiff, but not as stiff as cardstock. I also put gesso on all my pages to have a good foundation for the media I used. I also think lighter scrapbook paper would work, but use the gesso to help keep it from bleeding.

I used a page torn out of an art magazine....good quality paper but still cool to look at.

by the way...im making copies of mine and would love to have a copy of anyone else"s . I teach high school art and would love to show them this project! message me with your address and we can do a swap! I take mine to the office depot and have it color copied.

I'm using a book page.
