This is a really simple, inexpensive swap that won't take up too much of our time over the holiday period ^-^

You get one partner and you send that partner one letter.

In the letter you just have to tell your partner what your favorite part of 2008 was (or favorite parts if you've had more than one ^-^), or maybe something that wasn't so great about 2008 that you'd like to get off your chest - and a quick mention of what you hope 2009 will bring. Let them know any resolutions you want to share, or any goals you're setting for yourself, or any prayers or wishes you're hoping will be granted in the new year..

The letter can be as long or as short as you like - there are no rules about this. There's no rule about including presents for your partner either, but hearts should not be based on extras - i would hope that hearts would be based on how much heart the sender has put into their letter <3

The only real rule about this swap is that your letter must be decorated kawaii style - as this is what this group is all about. Use kawaii stationery, envelopes, stickers, deco tape, memo sheets or stampers so we can say goodbye to 2008 & hello (kitty) to 2009 in the style we all love ^-^

I hope you'll all join - I usually write this sort of letter to myself each year to take stock, but it would be great to share the tradition with others this year ^-^
