Think, then send

This is a postcard swap where you have to think about what you're sending ... don't merely pick a card, scribble something on it and send it off. Find out something more about it:

Check your partner's profile to see what might interest them, then choose the card. Check out what it's about. Why was the photo taken, or what exactly is it depicting if it's a historical one? If there's a monument, what is it commemorating? If it's a painting, what exactly is it, why the skull here or the flower there ... I think you get the feeling. Inform your recipient of the background to the card (it could even just be why you chose it - and don't just say "... because I like it"!!)
