mini junk journal Non traveling

For this swap you will make one mini junk journal from a pocket/purse calendar. This is not a traveling journal. You make it and your partner keeps it.

Junk journal is a magpie journal, is a ephemera journal is a art journal all the same thing to me. Basically you can add odds and ends for the pages.

pocket /purse calendar: these are small monthly calendars with one or 2 years inside. Go with one year if you can find it. They also might have 16 months verse 12. They are the size of a checkbook, flat, cheap, often free from charities.

What you need to do as the sender. You need to cover each page with background stuff. book pages, scrap paper, or scrapbooking paper, receipts, you name it. cover the pages. Paint also works, but might get very wet, since this is not paper intended for art. But I don't want to limit your imagination.

You can add ribbons, fibers, titles, prompts, tabs, add tip ins, or whatever you want to the pages. But don't finish the pages.

SO now you have covered every page in the book, except the front and back pages. With one exception.

Now you must complete at least one month. Only one is required the rest of the journal is for your partner to be able to add stuff she want to and make the journal her own.

Please sign your pages.

Now for the inside and back cover. In a traveling journal you all al this information about yourself as the owner, your mailing info and some instructions. You do not need your mailing info. You can add a dedication such as "made for you by AZmom875, 2017"

Feel free to decorate the cover or not.

If you are wise you will use tracking to mail this journal, and post the tracking in the comments. This will help you avoid issues.

You may get started now, it is senders choice. I wont cancel the swap, as long a there is one player. So don't worry that you start a journal and the swaps will get cancelled.
