Hi! If you're reading this, you must like white chocolate & postcards! They're two of my favourite things! So, this swap is for 2 white chocolate candy bars, and 3 postcards. You'll have 1 partner, so that means you'll be sending 2 white chocolate candy bars & 3 store-bought postcards out to your partner. Newbies are welcome, as is international. I DO check profiles, so if you have lots of one's, you're out. I'm just trying to watch out for the swappers. :) But do join, and let's get some yummy white chocolate, and lovely postcards! (By the way, if you don't like white chocolate, that's fine, you're welcome to join. Just message your partner, and tell them you want milk and/or dark chocolate. :))

Hello! Newbie here, a bit confused. Never mailed anything bigger than a letter, but very excited to start! How does this work? When do I get an address to send things to? How do you package candy bars for shipment??

hi! swap-bot assigns the partners, so you'll be sent an email when the swap is over, telling you to come to the site, and get your partners address. then, you can go out and buy the candy & postcards you'd like to send, and get a bubble envie, address it, put everything inside, tape it up, and take it to the post office to be weighed, and they'll tell you the postage, and there you go! :) hope that helps!

Just luv chocolate, regardless of the colour, and have just completed a Postcard/Magnet swap which I enjoyed, so looking forward to this one.

Sweet! It would be great if you buy them chocolates from your town's local chocolatier; not something you can easily buy off in any supermarket! :)

This sounds like a great first swap for me to try!

Lovely swap! I'm glad I find it before it was to late to sign up! I just have one question, shall we write something on the postcards or send them blank?

razmatazz 11/25/2008 #

Yay this sounds like fun .... i love chocolate . If anyone could send some 60% to 70% dark chocolate that would be awesome ... I'm having a hard time finding them.

I'm very new here so I hope that I don't make any mistakes unintentionally :) I was wondering about couple of things. I'm not a native English-speaker and am not sure if I really understand the definition of "candy bar". Are bars that are solid chocolate okay? And how prominent does the whte chocolate have to, is it alright if there's a bar that half milk and half white chocolate for example? And about the postcards, is it alright to use unused postcards from my stash, I've been collecting them for years with no real purpose and I would love for them to get a nice new home. I guess I'm asking if it's alright if the postcards aren't "fresh from printing machines", they would be tidy of course. Thank you, this seems like a really fun swap :)

Oooh! This sounds like so much fun since i love both chocolate and postcards. i do prefer milk chocolate over white or dark. can't wait! and i just want to make sure...these post cards should be blank, correct?

kerrimoo 11/27/2008 #

hysteriskt: blank postcards are fine, so no problem there!

razmatazz: just tell your partner you'd like dark chocolate! i can'tstand it, personally. lol. but just tell your partner!!

ereine: yeppers! candy bar means as long as it's in the shape of a chocolate bar, you know, several inches long, and made of chocolate - you're good! you don't absolutely have to send white chocolate.. just ask your partner their preferences... they may like milk or dark chocolate! just ask 'em! and yes, you can use postcards outo f your stash. :) as long as they're a postcard, you're good there!

kim91262: blank, yes!

thanks all!
