Description:

I've decided to begin a series that has a specific format and a specific medium (for the most part) and will remain consistent except that it will be a different theme each time. I don't have a lot of money right now, but I enjoy: getting mail, handmade items, and inchies. So hopefully a nice handful of people out there share this combination and we'll see how this develops..

Requirements: rating of 4.9 or better one partner handmade good quality - good craftsmanship creativity
U.S. Only

Instructions:

Size: 6 inches by 4 inches postcard

Keeping the theme in mind, create at least 9 inchies that will be placed in however way you want to design the postcard. Filling up the postcard is ideal, but 9 inchies is good enough too -- just don't make any less than that.

Please be proud of your work and do it when you have time so you don't find yourself rushing, glue leaking on the sides, poor images and text, etc. Think of it as a bunch of mini-works of art to create a larger kind of work of art :)

On the back: Design it as you wish and you don't need to force any kind of message, just simply write: swap name, sender's name and swap-bot name, and the theme...and of course the receiver's name and address on the other half of the back side.

There will be other themes up, so look for them if birds aren't your thing or you want to have a nice collection like me at the end. I will try to make this international in the future, but for the moment it is U.S. only. Thanks. I also hold the right to ban anyone that looks questionable and doesn't fit the requirements above. Mail on time and rate your partner!

Oh.. and be creative and have fun! :D

It is definitely not a dumb question and I'm sorry for not including a description but I figured for the most part people would know. An inchie is pretty much a work of art on a little square (1 inch by 1 inch, hence the name). You decorate it as you like and include text on it too if you want. It's pretty much that. Since this is a postcard, I suggest the inchies to be made pretty flat without any crazy 3D embellishments since they might come off or make it heavy. If you search "inchie postcard" on flickr.com, there are a few examples that come up that would give you a good idea of what I'm talking about. I hope this helps! :)
