This swap is for a Mini Meditation Altar. You will alter the outside of an Altoid Tin in any fashion/media you choose,be it paint,distressing,ink,collage etc.On the inside make a small Altar for Meditating.Include some items your partner can use when they meditate. Some ideas might be: Mala Beads A tealight candle Incense Crystals *A Prayer I'm setting the sign up date not to far from now so that we can possibly get some ideas from our partners profile.But the actual send date will give us plenty of time.

I would think you could find them at any New Age store.I know in San Diego they even sell them in Old Town.I'm sorry I didn't sign on sooner to answer your question,I'll wait till this afternoon to assign partners in case you'd like to sign up still.

Is it okay if we make our own mala/prayer beads set? Does everything in the altar have to be store bought?

Personally I prefer things that are handmade as opposed to store bought. But it's totally up to you.
