Description:

From time to time, we get help from a Star -- I got help from a few this past month during my Solstice Downturn!

Let's make a Star Book to celebrate the Stars in our lives, with a stellar theme.

Here is one tutorial for a folded star book that is very simple, even if it looks complex at first. Let's set a different size limit of 4 x 4 inches at the LARGEST (10 cm x 10 cm) so it will fit into a standard card-sized envelope. No small size limit ... challenge yourself! Here is a much more detailed non-video tutorial of the folding process.

Create one book for one partner, no larger than 4x4 inches (10x10 cm), with a theme related to stars. Stars to be interpreted any way that you like, whether it be universal, intergalactic, Hollywood, personal heroes, origami lucky stars, rock stars, the sun, a collage of all of the above ... the sky is the limit.

Open to all ZMACS members in good standing, I thank my lucky stars for you all :) I will star anyone who does not receive their swap.

Whichever tutorial you choose, it seems like it might be a good idea to weight the book for a day or so after you create it, to help the book settle and mail flatter. A smaller book could probably be opened up once during mailing to keep things flat.
