Description:
Week 3: Textures Texture up that card with different papers, embellishments, paint, and more! Textures can be 2D or 3D. This is an open theme and is sender's choice (in colors, mediums, and what not). For this series you will send your partner at least 1 ATC created by yourself. Themes will vary from week to week. Make sure your card is sturdy, and something you would be happy to receive. This swap will be for swappers in the USA. Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile (i.e. not blank). Established swappers must be in good standing with no recent unexplained 1's or 3's. I reserve the right to ban ANYONE I feel is flaky, questionable, unpleasant, or will cause drama. Unleash your creativity this year with an ATC a week!!! PARTNERS WILL BE ASSIGNED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE SWAP DEADLINE, THIS SWAP IS NOT PROFILE SPECIFIC SO YOU CAN MAKE YOUR CARD BEFORE HAND

Not sure how to texture an ATC but I will watch for now. Any suggestions from anyone??? Message me if you have some. :)

You can create 3D textures with glue, gesso, embossing, crumpled/crimped papers, carving, fabric, and many other ways.

2D textures can be made almost any way, but one of my favorites is to use stencils.

Feel free to try a new technique with this ATC!

I found paper with a velvet-like surface at JoAnne's. They also have different textures of card stock. Vellum makes a good addition too.
