VC: Ribbon Doll

This is a more time-and-labor-intensive swap...I want to be clear about this from the start. Ribbon dolls are beautiful ways to combine ribbons and laces you may have on hand, and can also be a reason to go shopping for even more of those gorgeous trims! Pick an image of a lady...I have an entire Pinterest board full of completed ribbon dolls and of the torso pictures that are perfect for these dolls. The ideal photo is one that contains a clear and beautiful rendering of a vintage lady's head, torso, and arms. Print this image on sturdy cardstock, and make her skirt a beautiful medly of various ribbons and trims. Also, the doll must have a hanger attached to the back of her head (a simple ribbon loop will suffice). If you Google "ribbon dolls" or look for them on Pinterest, you will see some gorgeous examples created by other artists. Make yours beautiful, and make her special for your partner. Given the labor-intensive nature of this swap, I'm allowing a longer-than-usual amount of time between partners being assigned and the due date.
