Swap-Bot Log 2017

So have you ever been guilty of being a little disorganized? Ever wonder how many swaps you have actually participated in within in a given time? Ever want a way to remind yourself to rate your partners? Have you ever created lists of reminders for swap-bot swaps like who your partner is, what you need to send, when you sent them and if you've received from your partner? Do you just like making lists or doing journaling?

Then this swap may be for you. I admit that I fit ALL the categories above..hahahaha.

This swap involves creating a journal that tracks all of your swaps for 2017. It will help you be more organized. Never get asked to rate a friend again because with your handy journal you will know if you've forgot to rate or be rated for all your swaps. :)

Here are the details:

Round 1: January 2017:

Purchase/make a journal of some form. #Any format. #Any style.
You can note things like:

Name of swap, host of swap, Sign-up date, ship date, number of partners, partners you send to, partners you'll receive from, whether you've rated your parnter, whether you've been rated and any other details about the swap you want to share. Depending on how much detail you want to give you can put one or more swaps per notebook page.

I will try and include a link to an example of a page out of my swap journal so you can see what I am talking about.

You will EMAIL your partner a few pics from your swap log just to show how you are doing.

You will tell your partner how many swaps you've completed, what your favorite swap was this month and perhaps if it's an artistic thing you can send a pic of a swap. Please do NOT include the address of your swap partners in the emailing. (In other words, cover any private information before taking a picture of your swap project). You can also share any "fails" that you think you may have had. Please don't be negative towards your swap partners (things you've received).

Does that sound hard?

I am going to create 2 books personally. One that I will send in December to my partner and one I will keep for myself as a log of swaps I've completed in 2017. I tend to add a lot more information in my swap journal then I would want to share with my partner. My "keep" copy I also include personal notes and tracking numbers/labels from my swaps. But this is not a requirement for the swap. You can create just one journal that you will send out in December 2017 to your partner.

UPDATE: Even if you think you don't like your partners format or style of swap log please rate them a 5 if you receive pictures of their swap log.
