New Year's Resolutions Pen Pal Letter

This is such a good idea! Maybe it will help me to actually keep my resolutions this year :P

I'm not really sure how to join a swap... do I just post here, or do I have to message the swap coordinator directly?! This one sounds interesting. I love to write really long letters, and would love to receive one in return! I am tired of really short, three paragraph letters saying nothing arriving in my mail box :)

Rubyfreckles, there is a link in bigger letters just beneath the swap details box, that says "Join this swap:" - Just click it, and it will ask if you really want to join - click there, and you will be "in" - hope you join us, I also love writing letters, and am looking forward to this swap.

Ok.... I can handle this one! I LOVE to write, by hand. I journal all the time. It would be nice to have someone read something I write.... other than descriptions... I hope my partner likes to read. I work in a Pharmacy, so while I try to compete with the doctor's signatures for messiness, I do like to think I have very legible handwriting. I've even been told it's pretty. Maybe I'll get out a calligraphy fountain pen....

I've been penpalling sice I was 13 so I'm looking forward to this a lot!

I need to write down my resolutions and maybe I can keep to them, and hopefully my pen pal can check in from time to time to see how Im doing on it!! I plan to do the same. Hello, this might seem like an obvious question, but I was wondering if after we send and receive the first letters, will some people want to stay in touch as penpals and carry on the correspondence? Just curious if it is meant to be a one-time thing or if it might be the start of a wonderful penpal-ship! Thanks.
