Description:
No fountain pens allowed! This swap is for dip nibs or the equivalent only! You will need: ink; a writing instrument such as a brush, nib, bamboo or quill; paper; Get your writing instuments out! grind that ink! sharpen that quill! And use them to correspond with your lucky partner. All kinds of lettering are encouraged. By all means make your own ink out of oak galls or squid. This is the place to use traditional mark-making methods to convey a short message to your partner by post. All corrections or clarifications are welcome below.

I am a starter and my lettering is of a starter. Can I join? We send a short message. Can you set measurements, since I guess we write more than a little post it note;)

Thank you, Lucine! I don't want to set measurements, since scripts vary in size and complexity. Some participants may want to cut their first quill and scratch a whole letter, favouring means over ends (that's me). Others may choose to send calligraphy in the form of poems, quotes or Suras, yet others may decide to send a single illuminated letter. Anyone who can write can participate.
