Description:

This swap will give you a little window into the daily lives of 5 of your fellow group members. You'll have 5 partners and 5 topics about which to write postcards. You pick which partner you'll write to about which topic.

1 postcard will be about something you DID on the day you write the card.

1 postcard will be about something you READ on the day you write the card.

1 postcard will be about something you ATE on the day you write the card.

1 postcard will be about something you SAW on the day you write the card.

1 postcard will be about something you THOUGHT on the day you write the card.

You can write to all 5 partners on the same day, or you can choose a different partner and topic per day and spread them out. It's all up to you.

And while I think it would be fun if people wrote one card about each topic, no one will know if you write to all your partners about the same topic--so if one of these prompts appeals to you more than others and you want to write about it to all your partners, that's fine, too.

I thought that this might be a way for people to do a swap that's kind of like the tags set up in the forum. If you participate in the swap, maybe you'll decide to participate in the tags--and vice versa?

And if people like this idea, we can have future "Something I..." swaps. Something I felt, something I liked, etc.?

What a fun idea, beckra! I love swaps that offer prompts - it helps get me focussed - and gets the card out on time! Thanks for hosting this swap!

Thanks, Starwatcher! And it's nice for our swapping paths to cross again--it's been awhile....
