Magpie Journal

One of my favorite types of journals are magpie journals. I like the freedom they provide you to use your stash and creativity.

mag·pie noun /ˈmagˌpī/  magpies, plural A long-tailed crow with boldly marked (or green) plumage and a raucous voice. Used in similes or comparisons to refer to a person who collects things, esp. things of little use or value.

The Magpie is a bird who goes around collecting things so for the purpose of this journal you are to have at least 30 entries of things you have collected.

*You need to also include a picture of a magpie somewhere in your journal.

Things you can include: RECIPES/MENUS/CARDS/POSTCARDS/BITS OF RANDOM INFORMATION/CLIPPINGS FROM MAGAZINES/NEWSPAPERS POEMS/SONG LYRICS /YOUR OWN PERSONAL THOUGHTS

*You can use a journal or a composition notebook to put your entries in. Please make it no smaller than 4x6.

*You can start as soon as you sign up.
