Description:

I love the little things that happen every day and I love ephemera so this swap is built around that. I have never done a pocket letter swap before so if I've missed something important, please let me know. I'm really more interested in the ephemera part of this swap than the format, but I don't want to offend any purists.

So, here's the swap:

Fill 7 of your pockets with items from one full week - one pocket for each day. Each pocket must have at least one item, but can have as many as you can fit. Some ideas are receipts, tickets, something (clean) you picked up off the sidewalk, even a gum wrapper - preferably something with at least a one-sentence story.

In the 8th pocket, write a short letter about the 7 days and what you included.

In the 9th pocket, include a small profile surprise.

That's it. Since it's pretty easy, I'll allow newbies with full profiles and at least a few good ratings on 2s or 3s. Although I review profiles pretty thoroughly, I will angel if needed (please give me 7 days to collect though.)

Do we need to put a pretty paper or decorated paper so that the pocket letter isn't empty after everything is removed? Should we write the note about the day on the back of pretty paper? I love this idea but would like to have something fun to look at after ephemera is taken out.

Also, can we start now or should we wait until partners have been assigned?

@pupkitmomof4 - if you want to add pretty or decorated paper, that would be fine. I'm not really sure why you would remove everything, it's not a pocket letter in that sense. More of a way of using the pocket letter format to share ephemera from your week. If you want to add it, that's fine but it is not a requirement so your partner may not.

And you are welcome to start it now since it's about your week and only the 9th pocket is profile based.
