So where does one find a traditional mendhi design?I'd like to sign up but I want to take a look at some possibly first(make sure I'm up to the challenge)=).I love India. Peace,Pat

the first is by far the most valuable resource on the web for both free patterns, history, info and much much more, catherine will even send you a FREE cd with patterns, a datebook and more..........she sent one all the way to sweden for me!!!

remember with mendhi designs its more about the process than the total end result!!

for me, doing mendhi, slowly on paper is like a meditation, i usually work from the center out and seee what appears on the paper, so please dont feel you must copy exactly a specific design:)

Google Mendhi on your computer and click images and tons of images should appear on your screen. I recommend checking out various art galleries in your area there might be a mendhi or henna artist who does henna art. These artists typically have mendhi or henna books to look at. I had one done on my birthday back in January she did my whole arm of koi fish with henna, it was pretty. I'm excited to do this swap. I love henna or anything involved with mendhi. If anyone is interested in doing this swap that I'm hosting. Here it is. "Make Me Laugh" Postcards. I created one early to give everyone a chance to order or buy their funny postcards.
