With this pocket letter craze, I just couldn't stand by and watch! I feel compelled to get in on the action! Though, as my admiration for kawaii far surpasses my interest in ... well ... quite a many other things lol I thought what a wonderful way to create some lovely kawaii mail for each other!

This will be the first pocket letter I'll have ever created! Ever!! So with that in mind, I do not expect anyone else to be an expert. This is fun swap, meant to make your partner smile, all the while allowing us to branch out and explore a new creative outlet! Who knows, maybe this will be the start of a new obsession! And for those of you who are not so noobs to the pocket letter world, Welcome!

So What is it really?!
You'll notice each 'pocket' is designated an item to stuff inside! The pocket letter itself is created using an 8 1/2 x 11 baseball card sleeve. One of those whole punched buggers that fits nicely inside a three ring binder. (Many of us used/use them for Pokemon cards and the like!) Each pocket is then filled with varying items of the more flattish variety. The concept is to fill each of the nine pockets, with a different type of item, in this case following the theme of Kawaii.
What Goes Inside?
Good question! We will be filling all 9 pockets. To start, please place a piece of decorative paper 2 1â„2 by 3 1â„2 inches (or a mini memo sheet!) inside 8 of the pockets. These papers will act as backgrounds for your goodies! You will then be placing your items in front of your backgrounds. This will make the pocket letter look lovely! Guidelines for items to put inside each pocket are as follows:
 1. Letter. What would a pocket letter be without a letter to your partner? Write yourself a nice letter, using a single sheet of kawaii letterset paper (or jumbo memo pad paper). You may write about anything! Though please include the swap name as well as your Swap-Bot handle somewhere on your letter ^_^
2. Three mini envies. These may be purchased kawaii mini envies, or feel free to use those memo pads that feature an envelope template to make your envies! Either way, keep them kawaii ^_^ Size does not matter as long as they fit within the pocket's space.
3. 20 kawaii sticker flakes! Please use an envelope or small bag to keep them all contained. Then place inside your pocket!
4. 3 kawaii paperclips! To make these, take a cabochon, or one of those thick fat stickers (you know what I mean!) and glue to the top of a paperclip! (If store bought ones exist, they are fine, though I've never seen one myself lol)
5. 15 kawaii mini memo sheets. Self explanatory ^_^
6. 3 different samples of kawaii washi and/or deco tape! Each sample must be 2ft in length (24inches), and must be a different pattern.
7. Your favorite Kawaii character! You will not be placing a background paper in this pocket. Instead, please take a separate piece of paper 2 1â„2 by 3 1â„2 inches. Use a sticker, a printed image, washi/deco tape, anything that features an image of YOUR favorite character, to decorate this paper. (Or you may just use a mini memo sheet that features your character). Next, on this paper please write one thing about your character! What's their story? What's a quote of theirs? How did they come about? Example: "Mamegoma - These seals love to eat soybeans!"
8. A tea bag. Must be factory sealed and not expired. Simple as that ^_^
9. Your choice! For your final pocket you can decide what you'd like to include! This can be a partial sheet of stickers, more flakes, more memos, sticky notes, or something completely random! As long as it is kawaii and somewhat flat-ish, it's fair game! Get creative guys! ^_^
Sender's Choice
Everything you include is sender's choice, however it must all be branded kawaii, or made using branded kawaii as in the cases of the paperclips and envies. Brands such as San-X, Crux, Mind Wave, Kamio, etc. NO diddle, disney, MLP, etc.
Requirements are as follows: Rating of at least 4.98 with NO recent 1s or 3s. Must have completed 30 type 2 and/or 3 swaps.
