PLEASE READ ENTIRE SWAP DESCRIPTION

I'm running this swap for the time being. SimplyFunMom has been swamped and is letting me take over until she catches up. Thanks to her!

This is a USA swap only. Feel free to host your own international one.

What is a Pass and Paste Postcard? It is an index card or any stiff paper - 3x5 or 4x6 - anything over that takes a forever stamp. The "front" of the postcard is divided into 4 sections. Each section is numbered 1 through 4. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE YOURS LARGER!

The "back" of the postcard is divided in half, just like a regular postcard. Put your address in the address section so your card will return to you once it's been filled up. Divide the "writing" side into 4 spaces, numbered 1 through 4. Add a postcard stamp to it.

If you are just jumping in now: For this swap, you are going to use the above instructions and make a Pass and Paste Postcard. If you are making for yourself, then you don't have to decorate a spot. If it is for someone else, then you'll decorate and sign #1 spot.

If you have participated in previous swaps: send on the postcard you received previously. IF YOUR PARTNER HAS ALREADY SIGNED THE CARD OR IT IS ONE THAT WAS MADE FOR THEM,THEN CREATE A NEW CARD. (or you can contact me to see if I have any extras).

When partners are posted, you will mail the postcard in an envelope to them. When your partner receives, they will decorate the next section. Then HOLD ON TO IT for the next round. This swap is held 2 swaps within each month due to the fact that this is so easy. Anyone can jump in at any time too.

You can decorate using any medium, BUT you have to make sure that it is attached well. Zentangle, stickers, a little drawing - Also, you need to make sure that nothing is too big as the last person decorating will be sending this naked and it will have to go through the postal machines. If you glued a button on it will not survive.

Oh and if you decide not to continue on PLEASE contact me and I will be happy to take the postcard you have.

Newbies welcomed, with a well filled out profile (I DO CHECK AND WILL BAN). No recent/unexplained low ratings and you must check into swap-bot within 3 days of partners being assigned..

If you know of a bad swapper signed up for this swap, I appreciate being informed, but please DO NOT post to the comment section! Send me a PM and I will deal with it that way

I screwed up and in my excitement decorated one of the sections. It's going to return to me, ultimately. Should I make another instead?

Should we "sign" our square with our swap-bot ID so the recipient can look us up if they want?

StarMouse-- I wouldn't worry about it. I've gotten ones like that before. You can either just send it as is and you'll only have 3 artists contributing, or you can divide one section in half if it doesn't make it too small to work with. I'd say send it as it!

Winterborn--yes! Sign please. There should also be a place on the back (where you normally write your message) for you to sign your name and leave a short message if you like. You can talk about your process, image choice... whatever!

I am finishing a Pass & Paste PC. Do I send it naked to the address on the card? Do I send a card with my address to my partner for this swap? Just want to clarify since I am fairly new to this kind of swap.

Mjhaertling--yes! Send the completed card (naked) to the owner (there should already be a stamp on it). Then you make a new stamped card to your partner for them to work on.
