9-Patch Rainbow Quilt BOM #4-GREEN

I'm back! I'm in a sort of limbo, waiting for papers to be signed so we can sell the house and I can move on, and I'm so glad to have these swaps to keep me busy!

This one is for the GREENs! Only two more to go, Blue and Purple, then we'll all have enough to make a Rainbow quilt with them! I'm even thinking of making my blocks into Disappearing Nine-Patches--we'll see how ambitious I am when the time comes!

The idea is to have 4 partners for whom we will make 5 9-patch blocks in specific colors, 4 to send 1 to each partner, and 1 to keep--not specific in the fabrics (except all cotton quilt fabrics), but more scrappy to use up some stash!

This swap was for 5 blocks of GREENS, light and dark or all scrappy--in the quilt pattern, these will be the upper left one and bottom right 4--look at the image to get the idea.

You can start anytime since it's sender's choice which scraps you have to use. The blocks will be 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" when ready to send.

Here is a general pattern to follow if you're not familiar with the 9-Patch. 5" charms will work if you have them to use, just trim them to 4 1/2" and use a 1/4" seam allowance.

The swaps will have signup dates as the 9th of each month and the 29th for the send-by. So sign up, and start scrapping!”
