you will swap these items with your partner:

1 - handmade item

2 - atcs or handmade postcards

3 - pages of a letter

4 - yards of one type of ribbon

5 - collage items

one partner. USA ONLY.

1 - handmade item (item should be 3-d. examples... an altered book, a decorated cigar box, tin shrine, a knitted item, an art doll, homemade magnets. a small painted canvas, handmade jewelry, handbound journal, etc.)

2 - either send 2 atcs you've made. any theme. or send 2 homemade postcards. the postcards should be blank on the back and sent in your package so they can be used by your swap partner at another time.

3 - hand write your swap partner a 3 page letter.

4 - yards of ribbon. or you may send decorative thread. but nothing run-of-the-mill like plain sewing or embroidery thread. 4 yards of the same style please.

5 - collage/art items. this is open to your interpretation. there is no money value set, just be kind and thoughtful. ephemera and other collage bits may be used. they may even be trash as long as the creative value is there. feel free to send used items when appropriate: a used ink pad is not cool but a little baggie of used postage stamps is. dig? examples of a nice 5 item package: a rubber stamp, little pack of craft googly eyes, a water color pencil, few sheets of origami paper and a pair of craft edge scissors.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS> i love getting & making pretty mail. i love opening a package and seeing the effort and care someone took in making a package. in the spirit of that you must:

• send your package in a box.

• decorate the outside of the box in a creative way

• wrap each item or set of items in tissue paper, fabric or other covering (be as creative as you want)

• check your partners profile and any links to their journals, etc to learn what they like.
